Objectives:
Identify genotypes of wheat with low asparagine content and to determine parental relationships regarding asparagine synthetase enzymes among diverse wheat cultivars. Determine the association between asparagine content and wheat quality. Develop a rapid method for asparagine quantitation in wheat.
