Start Date: 2021
Project Length: 5 Years
Objectives:

Optimize a hydroponic bioassay to phenotype the interaction between canola and Plasmodiophora brassicae. Sequence the genome of all single spore isolates (SSI) and identify P. brassicae SSI virulence markers. Design and implement a multiplex PCR assay able to differentiate P. brassicae isolates.
