Objectives:

Built on the momentum generated by the current Genome Canada project (Application of Genomics to Innovation in the Lentil Economy, AGILE), the goals of EVOLVES are to i) accelerate the improvement of the quality of Canadian lentils through strategic use of genetic variability, and ii) improve the capability and agility of the breeding program so Canada can promptly capture emerging market opportunities.
