Objectives:

Determine how plant growth regulators and abscisic acid (ABA) regulates the expression of freezing tolerance. Determine the most effective ABA analogs, either alone or in combination with an anti-GA PGR for enhancing the winter survival of winter crops. Determine marker proteins associated with cold hardiness. Determine cold hardiness genes and their regulatory elements.
