Determine the contribution of oat to soil fertility. Examine the association of AMF, rhizosphere and root-associated microbes in oat to soil fertility. Measure the impact of oat on the growth of the following crop. Develop growth and nutrient uptake models for crops following oat. Determine the root growth and biomass of all crops under controlled environment conditions.
