Start Date:
2021
Project Length:
3 Years
Objectives:
Obtain images and determine elemental changes in grain after Fusarium infection through synchrotron based x-ray technology. Determine Fusarium damaged kernels (FDK), fungal biomass (FB) and DON in infected grain by conventional method. Develop a framework to determine FDK and DON in cereals by combining synchrotron based technology and deep learning methods.
