Start Date:
2013
Project Length:
4 Years
Objectives:
To complete the introgression of sprouting tolerance from hexaploid wheat into high yielding, low cadmium accumulating durum wheat germplasm. To develop high through-put DNA markers to speed the introgression of dormancy into durum wheat. To develop and characterize low temperature dormancy in CWRS backgrounds.
