Objectives:
To conduct a preliminary analysis of the population structure of stripe rust in Saskatchewan and compare isolates known to be adapted to cool conditions to isolates suspected of having adapted to warmer conditions. To evaluate and select wheat germplasm with seedling and adult plant resistance to stripe rust.
