Objectives:
To determine if medics regenerate in continuous cropping systems in prairie Canada. To test the long-term benefits of medics in no-till rotations in subhumid (Red River Valley) and dry (Indian Head) growing environments. To determine what areas of western Canada are suited to late-season cover crops. To identify superior black medic lines for prairie production.
