Total WGRF Funding: $18,000
Co-Funders: Alberta Barley Commission, Manitoba Crop Alliance, Results Driven Agriculture Research, Saskatchewan Barley Development Commission
Start Date: 2022
Project Length: 3 Years
Objectives:

Understand how different barley cultivars respond to plant growth regulator (PGR) applications. Explore the impact of Moddus PGR application timings on feed barley to minimize lodging and maximize yield/quality. Determine production efficiencies by tank-mixing PGRs with herbicides and foliar fungicides. Establish the yield and yield variability of newly registered barley varieties.
