Start Date:
2022
Project Length:
3 Years
Objectives:
Detection and quantification of DON, cadmium (Cd) and alpha-amylase in wheat grains using LIBS. Optimization of LIBS to estimate DON, Cd and alpha-amylase in wheat spikes. Evaluate germplasm variations in DON, Cd, and alpha-amylase using LIBS. Assess the potential of terahertz spectroscopy and imaging for determination of grain moisture content.
