To devise sustainable organic production systems for the Brown soil zone by developing soil and crop management strategies that enhance producer profitability by decreasing production costs and risks and by improving grain productivity and overall environmental sustainability. To develop sound beneficial soil management practices to improve soil chemistry, physical and biological properties, while maintaining or improving farm productivity and competitivenss of organic producers
