Objectives:
i) Promote clean environment and "One Health" by improved genetic control of Fusarium head blight in wheat
ii) Reduce greenhouse gases and increase carbon sequestration by developing early maturing wheat germplasm
iii) Use very solid stem germplasm and employ advanced molecular selection to develop high quality CWRS lines for wheat stem sawfly prone environments
iv) Improve water use and NUEs through advanced genomic tools
v) Develop field ready cultivars for western Canada
