Objectives:
To develop 2-row barley with superior combinations of disease resistance for Western Canada (priority one: net blotch and scald, priority two: stem rust and loose smut). To evaluate potential sources of resistance to net blotch and scald. To transfer superior 6-row net blotch tolerance to high quality 2-row genotypes.
