Objectives:
1. To develop a threshold for lygus in lentils using lab based assays.
2. To validate threshold for lygus in lentils using on-farm experiments.
3. To develop a threshold for the combined effect of lygus and aphids in lentils in farmer and/or research fields.
4. To document the abundance & diversity of natural enemies of lygus & aphids which may reduce pests & need for intervention.
5. To determine the role of predators in controlling aphids and lygus in lentils using field cage studies.
6. To contribute to the design of a data base repository.
