Objectives:
The goals of this projects are: i) to compare Canadian open-pollinated and German hybrid rye varieties under conventional and intensive management practices in Western Canada, and ii) to provide a realistic input budget to producers comparing costs of open-pollinated and hybrid rye in these two managment systems.
