Objectives:
To develop two-row malting barley cultivars for western Canada with improved disease resistance and agronomic performance combined with enhanced quality traits to expand market opportunities. Emphasis has been placed on developing barley germplasm with improved resistance to Fusarium Head Blight (FHB).
