Lead Researcher (PI): Steve Robinson
Institution:
Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada
Total WGRF Funding:
$198,000
Co-Funders:
Manitoba Crop Alliance, Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission
Start Date:
2021
Project Length:
4 Years
Objectives:
To use the lysimeter plant array to evaluate plant growth under both optimal and sub-optimal water availability to identify wheat genotypes better adapted to drought stress and map the underlying genes using a Nested Association Mapping population.
