Lead Researcher (PI): Ruan, Yuefeng
Institution: Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada
Total WGRF Funding: $122,420
Co-Funders: Agriculture Development Fund, Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission
Start Date: 2024
Project Length: 4 Years
Objectives:

Develop genomic selection models of doubled haploid populations of CWRS and CWAD wheat classes for genomic selection. Explore the utilization of genomic selection with double haploid technology to accelerate genetic gains (yield, protein, gluten strength) in CWRS wheat and in CWAD wheat (yield, protein, FHB, DON).
