Objectives:

Characterize the quantitative trait locus/gene for stem solidness on chromosome arm 3DL of hexaploid wheat and develop breeder friendly molecular markers for stem solidness and an assay to efficiently incorporate 3DL QTL into hexaploid germplasm.
