Objectives:
To determine impact of mite-transmitted virus and virus-like agents on selected wheat cultivars with the following specific objectives: i) comparative light and electron microscopy of mite-transmitted viruses, ii) molecular analysis of virus-host interactions, iii) screening of wheat cultivars for resistance to mites and disease agents.
