Objectives:
To determine the environmental conditions or agronomic practices that enable high populations of brown wheat mite (BWM) to develop. To determine the range and mode of dispersal and the stage of the mite involved. To investigate the yellowing of barley associated with severe infestations of BWM. To development management recommendations based on information from the above studies.
