Lead Researcher (PI): T.F. Townlet Smith
Institution: Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada
Total WGRF Funding: $70,000
Co-Funders: None
Start Date: 1991
Project Length: 2 Years
Objectives:

To evaluate the utility of RAPD marker technology in breeding wheat by identifying polymorphic primers, determining their inheritance patterns, map their chromosome locations and establish genetic linkages to genes for disease and sprouting resistance.
