Start Date:

Project Length:
3 Years
Objectives:
To determine the impact that leaf spots of spring wheat and durum have on grain yield, protein concentration and other quality parameters, and grade. To compare results in different soil zones that differ in the prevalence of leaf spotting pathogens. To determine if the effect of chemical treatment aimed at controlling leaf spots in later stages of growth will protect grain from red smudge and black point.
