Objectives:
To develop a co-ordinated pest monitoring program designed to keep the agriculture industry informed of the risks to crop production from insect pests by: a) monitoring existing/emerging pest populations; b) forecasting pest damage potential, and quantifying the potential of new invasive species to establish in Canada; and c) producing timely risk warnings.
