Lead Researcher (PI): Beres, Brian
Institution: Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada
Total WGRF Funding: $217,783
Co-Funders: Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada, Alberta Grains, Manitoba Crop Alliance, Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission
Start Date: 2023
Project Length: 5 Years
Objectives:

Fully explore GxExM synergies that lead to reductions in GHG emissions and improve nitrogen recovery uptake and efficiency in wheat systems by integrating genetics (variety/growth habit) with environment (site-year x planting time) and management (N form x seeding system).
