Lead Researcher (PI): Christopher Todd & Allyson MacLean
Institution: University of Saskatchewan & University of Ottawa
Total WGRF Funding: $250,010
Co-Funders: Saskatchewan Canola Development Commission
Start Date: 2020
Project Length: 4 Years
Objectives:

To identify key molecular events that facilitate the establishment and development of clubroot disease by identifying Plasmodiophora brassicae effector proteins and by identifying differentially expressed proteins in clubroot-susceptible and club-root resistant canola lines.
